Graciela lturbide (b. 1942 in Mexico City) is Latin America’s most acclaimed photographer and the only Latin American woman to have received the Hasselblad Award.
In this monographic volume, published under the joint imprint of RM and the Fundación MAPFRE, Marta Dahó has assembled many of lturbide’s best-known works, along with sorne of her little-known photographs, in a feast of images.
Containing more than 180 photographs, this book offers one of the most complete treatments in existence of lturbide’s career, with a special focus on her most famous image, and ranging transversally from her very first photographs to sorne of her most recent works.
